  • Baking Soda: Make a solution using ¼ cup baking soda and 1 cup water. Spray this solution on the stains and leave it for half an hour. Then scrub it with an upholstery brush and then vacuum clean the seat to lift any baking soda particles and to dry it.
  • Vinegar:  For this take about 1 cup of hot water and add 1cup of white vinegar and a few drops of dishwashing soap and spray this solution on the stain, scrub it and leave for 15 minutes and then wipe it away and clean the seat with water.

Leather Car Upholstery

  • Lemon juice: Make a paste using equal amounts of lemon juice and cream of tartar and apply over stain and leave it for 30 minutes. Rub it with a sponge and rinse  it off with water.  
  • Toothpaste: Toothpaste for cleaning car upholstery, sounds strange?? But it actually works wonders. Simply apply a little amount of toothpaste on the stain and rub it  gently with the help of a toothbrush for a few minutes until you see the stain has started fading. Wipe it away and clean that area with water. Make sure you do not use gel toothpaste for this.
